Guitarra&Mujer is an activity of the Female Guitarist Association, with the objective to place art at the service of organizations that work for women assistance,in order to create social awareness of their social problems like violence and social discrimination.

In Paraguay, this activity has had the participation of Badi Assad from Brazil, Isabelle Villey from France, Consuelo Bolio from Mexico, Cecilia Siqueira from Uruguay, Marta Masters from USA, Silviana López from Argentina, Eva Fampas from Greece, Nadia Borislova from Russia together with Paraguayan artists.

Guitarra&Mujer is under the management of Luz María Bobadilla with the coordination of Tania Ramos. The obtained resources are given to the Foundation of Kuña Aty, a non-governmental organization that provides medical, psychological and legal assistance to women in poor conditions and are also victims from domestic violence.

Guitarra&Mujer was developed with the establishment of the International Female Guitarist Association held in Costa Rica on November, 2000. The first board of directors consistedof Isabelle Villey from France as Chairman and Luz María Bobadilla from Paraguay as Vice-Chairman.

Guitarra&Mujer has been carried out by Judith de La Asunción, the classical guitarist of Costa Rica in 2002, 2003, and Isabelle Villey in Mexico on 2004.
